Upcoming reviews

Just received two books for review in the next month!! They both look awesome:)

Abigail Tate was a normal human girl. Until the day Bronx the vampire barges into her life and turns her against her will. Held captive while forced to deal with never ending cravings for blood, Abby prays for a way to escape. Only when an opportunity arises, it's with the aid of an innocent human named Tyler--except vampires are forbidden to interact with the unbitten. But Abby quickly learns this human has secrets of his own...secrets that can either help her or get her killed. Only Abby discovers that she was the one with the biggest secret of them all.

Guardian angel Selene was so close to becoming an archangel—the supreme of all beings—until she fell in love with Cole, a forbidden dark one. Once she discovers her vampire lover has been kidnapped and the only way to save him is by abandoning her number one priority—Caitlyn, her human charge—there really is only one answer in Selene’s mind, even though leaving Caitlyn unguarded will most likely cause Selene to fall from grace.

But her choice to save Cole doesn’t come without a price…and now Selene is racing against time to not only save her dark lover, but find a way to keep Caitlyn alive as well.

With the help of a new vampire ally, Luke, Selene will push her diminishing angel abilities to the point where her very existence lies in the balance. Now threatened with the chance of becoming a fallen angel or even dying, Selene can only pray she’ll have enough time—and good grace—to save the ones she loves.

Both books are by author Ashley Robertson, I'm very much looking forward to reading them. I may even be able to persuade her to do an interview with us!

What I'm reading now!

I'm reading a few books, I never can read just one anymore lol. I'm actually enjoying all of them equally right now too. It's hard when you review, sometimes the books just don;t catch you, but all of these really have.

I signed up to do a review of this one for a tour company I host for on my other blog. Seriously, it's really good so far. I can usually tell within a few pages if I'm going to like it, and this one has not failed me yet. I'm almost halfway through it!! I'll be sure to post my review when I'm done.

This one is by a friend of mine, I've loved everything she's written! Stephanie Nelson seriously is a genius. I'm a little less than halfway, really, really good.

I read the first book, A Discovery of Witches a while back and really loved it. I jumped at the chance to review this one for NetGalley. I'm more than halfway done and it keeps getting better and better.

Whole new world

I know, the title is cheesy in an Aladdin sort of way lol, but this is a whole new venture for me in blogging. I have my other page, my author blog, and I really felt like my reading and reviewing deserved a blog on it's own. So, here I am, opening shop :)

I'm going to be doing a bunch of reviewing....well that's my hope at least. I tend to take a lot on my plate lol. Between writing, and also my new online event planning business, I'm usually pretty busy. I cram my reading time in whenever I can get it, usually before bed and I end up staying up way way to late lol.

Anyways, that's the story, welcome to the new blog!!
