Funny and feisty witch Jolie Wilkins is back—or rather, she’s back to her humble beginnings. My thoughts:
This was so much better than the last one! There wasn't as much back story, and I felt like the story went somewhere. The first half of the book I was conflicted, I knew Sinjin had done a bad thing, but I felt myself falling in love right alongside Jolie. He is always so charming, you can't help but love him.
It was interesting to see a different Jolie, the one from the beginning of the series. She was so insecure about who she was, but she still had the same fire in her. I was very happy with the way it ended up, and I can;t wait to start the next book in the series!!!
