Who we are

My name is Jessi, I'm a wife, mother, author, and online event planner. I love to read anything paranormal, YA, or mystery. I'm beginning to branch out more into the sci-fi genre, but just a bit.

I am married 1 yr but together for 10 or is it 11 altogether? Anyway a long time, we have one child,a boy named Gunner(which is better than the original names the husband came up with....Sea Bass and Trout...Who would do that to an innocent boy? Geez.....
I love to read, paranormal is my absolute favourite type of books to read but I do read other genres.
I am new to the reviewing so please bear with me, I promise to get better as I get the hang of it!!! I take criticism very well....bring it ;-)

Michelle~
Hello all! My name is Michelle and I am so excited to be able to share my love of words with you. I am a total book nerd! I often say books are my guilty pleasure Lol. I love paranormal fiction, but I also have at least on favorite in each other genre out there. I am a mom of 7---five boys and two girls---- ranging in age from 21 to 5 . I also am proud to be a pediatric special needs nurse. I also have an awesome dog named Daisy that is my partner in crime!!! I am excited to share my thoughts with each of you and welcome your thoughts/ reactions as well!!!!

Ashley~
Hi everyone! I’m Ashley. A little bit about myself, hmmm, well, I secretly enjoying having love affairs with other peoples over active imaginations and living vicariously through their characters (yes, yes, it may sound like I have no life of my own, but I assure you, that is not the case). I have three sons, who constantly keep me on the run, between school, sports and SpongeBob. A Great Dane named Scooby Doo who totally thinks she’s a lap dog. I love to travel, horseback riding (as often as I can) and just the outdoors in general (oh, and I am a big fan of History too). But I must admit there is still nothing better than curling up on the couch with a cup of coffee and good book. Books are like a drug for me, I always find myself chasing after that emotional high. I want to ‘feel’ what the characters are feeling so when an author has the ability to write about raw emotions and describe them so well they can provoke that gut wrenching pain or cause you to cringe as they go into detail, I can’t help but feel satisfied and yet left with wanting more, feeling a bit at a loss when the story is over. One day I myself hope to achieve that goal (I have a whole slew of characters and plot lines trapped in my head begging for me to break them free of their prison). Until then… I am perfectly content with immersing myself within the words and pages of other talented Authors.

Lisa~
I am a single mother of a very active 6 year old boy. So just by saying this you know why I need to read. Reading has always been my so called drug of choice. I read several books a day if I can. My typical genre is paranormal, YA, with romance mixed in. If you have vampires, witches, werewolves, or Greek mythology you have me from the start. I fell in love with paranormal with authors such as Christine Feehan Carpathian novels, Sherrilyn Kenyon Dark Hunter novels. Just enough romance mixed into the paranormal.

Carrie~
My name is Carrie Peeples. I come from a long line of avid readers (among other crafts). My mom always had a bag of chips and her nose in her book. My grandmother on my father’s side always had a box of chocolate and her nose in a book. So on both sides, I found reading books to be not my only heritage, but also a junk food junkie while reading them. In all seriousness, I am a military brat and moved often. We lived in Sacramento, CA. the longest, and so I claim this town as home. I have a wonderful husband who works hard to allow me to be home with our almost 2 year old, and be available for our 8 year old. I am really excited to have the opportunity to read and tell others my opinion.

Crystal~
Something about me: My name is Crystal and I love my Kindle! I live in sunny Southern California. I am a newbie to the world of reviewing and I'm loving every minute of it. I read when my kids arent attached to my hip. I'm a sucker for Humorous books, YA, Paranormal, and Dystopian but I am slowly coming around to Adult Contemporary/Romance. I review every book I read regardless if I loved it or not. I hope that my reviews help others decide to give a book a try. When asked what book got you hooked reading, I would have to say it was Moon Spell by Samantha Young :)

Stephanie~
Hi ya’ll, Stephanie here, wife to the love of my life, mommy to the best three little girls ever and aspiring pastry chef!  My love for baking comes second to my love for reading! Nothing is better than cuddling with my love while eating cake and reading a good book! I’m new to the reviewing world so please bear with me while I figure things out.
