Deena Remiel Reviewapalooza!!!

Today the girls are reviewing a ton of amazing books by Deena Remiel!!! Hope you all enjoy the reviews and grab the books!

One way or another, terror will reign tonight...

School teacher and single mom, Emma Livingston, has been through hell--and back so she thinks. While dealing with the night terrors and active imagination of her five-year old daughter, Hannah, she attempts to lead a normal life. That is, until the demon from those nightmares pays her a visit, too, and threatens both of their lives. Desperate, she reaches out for help--and finds Michael waiting.

Michael D'Angelo is known to everyone in Prophet's Point, Arizona, as their loving elementary school principal. But to The Brethren, he is the most powerful Protector. Immortal and angelic does not mean he's without doubts or fears, as protecting Emma and Hannah from Evil tests his ability to fight his tortured past.

As the Trinity is formed, ancient secrets are revealed and faith is tested. When a prophecy is exposed, Hannah becomes the main target and Emma wonders if a normal life will ever be possible again. Hope is like an anchor, but can a mother, her daughter, and an angel overcome the evil determined to annihilate the world?

Our thoughts:

Trinity was eye-opening and full of action and passion.

Emma is a teacher by day and a mommy by night to a five year old daughter who has an active imagination and suffers from constant nightmares of an evil man who wants to take her away. Emma begins to suffer from nightmares brought on by the same evil and it wont stop until he claims Hannah as his daughter.

Michael is the principal of the school Emma teaches at. He's also a Protector, an angel sent to Earth to ward off evil. He quickly becomes aware of Emma's plight and vows to protect her and her daughter. But what he didn't expect to find was love.

Unknown secrets from Emma's past come into light and a prophecy is exposed. The Trinity is formed and  lives will be changed forever.

I loved how Deena empowered a five year old with badass fighting skills. She painted the scenes full of excitement and sexy man angels. The storyline was very creative and I look forward to reading more about the Brethren and whom they protect next.

I really enjoyed this book! It was definitely a gem to read. I haven't been reading much lately and being on vacation it was hard to read as it was. I was sent this book Trinity to read and omg it's amazing! This is one of my top ten books to read and simply cannot wait to read more from one of my new favorite authors!!!
Emma's a strong woman to deal with all the different obstacles she comes across plus get daughter being kidnapped by then devil. A savior, a healer, and a protector to battle against evil.
Thank you Miss Ramiel for this awesome read. If I could make my kindle app make favorites, this book would most definitely be there, without a doubt! 4.5 stars

Raphael, a Brethren Savior, an angel with a forgotten past, has lost his power to heal and is on a self-imposed guilt trip to get it back. If he can’t, his tour of eternal duty as Brethren Savior will be revoked. On his journey, he winds up enmeshed in a web of attempted murder and resurrection, all thanks to a woman he’s only seen in a photograph and by chance on an Arizona desert hiking trail.

Serena Sikes is a wanted woman. Desired by “undesirables” for a gift her brother gave her—a stolen relic with suspected healing powers. Hunted down in the Arizona desert and left for dead, she is found by none other than the angel who cannot heal.

Raphael and Serena are inexorably bound together, for locked deep within the relic’s heart had lived the soul of his long lost wife. Now, it resides inside Serena. Evil lurks around every corner as Raphael tries to keep both Serena and his dead wife’s soul alive and lustful temptation at bay.

Three souls bound together by an ancient relic, bound by a timeless gift, and bound by a love that is eternal.

Our thoughts:

I enjoyed Relic more than I enjoyed Trinity. The main characters in this install were lesser known characters from Trinity.

Raphael is our swoon-worthy angel this time. He is a Savior, a healer. But when tragedy strikes, he lost his ability to heal and is on a guilt trip to get it back.

Remember Jared, Agremons' lacky? Well he gave his sister an ancient Relic that oddly looks alot like her. Serena, Jared's sister, begins to dream of an amazing lover and of a life shes lived before. But that's not all that happens to her. She finds out that the Relic was stolen property and supposedly has healing powers and the man who Jared stole it from wants it back. But word got back to him that the person who has it looks just like the Goddess herself. Serena finds herself wanted by a crazed man and wanted dead by another.

Raphael winds up tangled in a web of attempted murders and resurrection, all thanks to a woman he’s only seen in a photograph and by chance on an Arizona desert hiking trail. Yep you guessed it, Serena.

Raphael and Serena are drawn together, for locked deep within the relic’s heart had lived the soul of his long lost wife. Now, it resides inside Serena. Evil lurks around every corner as Raphael tries to keep both Serena and his dead wife’s soul alive and lustful temptation at bay.

Relic was way more enjoyable to me. It was well written and full of bad guys who, at times, were dense. They provided the much needed comic relief and it was timed beautifully. The relationship between Serena and Raphael to me, was deeper than that of Emma and Michael (who makes a guest appearance in this one) =)

The scenes were very well detailed and the passion between Serena and Raphael was hot!  Book 3 of the Brethen Series is definitely next up on my reading list!  Great job on Relic Ms. Remiel!!!

Callie has secrets, too many to count.

For twenty years she’s been living a lie as Callie Worthington, hiding from the monsters who brutally murdered her parents for possession of the Elixxir of Life. Unsuccessful before, their killers have found her and will stop at nothing to acquire the Elixxir. And see her dead.

Nathanael has a couple of secrets, too. A nasty one in particular blurs the line separating Good from Evil. As an immortal Brethren Warrior, though, he must retrieve the Elixxir before it falls into the wrong hands. Just how he’s going to get it out of Callie’s is the big question.

Tempers flare as Callie and Nathanael reach out to each other with their own hidden agendas. She needs his protection. He needs the Elixxir. Will their fiery passion lead to lasting love, or will their web of intrigue ultimately destroy them both?

Secrets, lies, and love’s loyalties tested. What price for immortality? What price for love?

Our thoughts:

Deena has again blown me away with this installment to the Brethren Series. Elixxir revolves around Serena's best friend Callie.

Callie has a past that she has all but forgotten until her curiosity gets the better of her. Now that her past is back to kill her and claim the Elixxir of Life that her father entrusted to her all of those years ago, Callie needs the aide of the Brethen to keep her and her secret safe.

Nathanael shows up at her door step unexpectedly and is thrown for a loop when Cassie takes charge right then and there. He has the undaunting task of seeking out the Elixxir to return to the InBetween and he has a feeling that Calie knows exactly where it is.

With their tempers clashing and hidden agendas in place, will these two survive long enough to keep her and the Elixxir safe or will they end up killing each other? Callie can't help but feel connected to Nathanael because of the secrets he harbours and Nathanael can't help but think Callie is sexy and strong.

With every addition that Deena makes to the Brethren Series, it gets better and better. Full of non-stop action and twists placed perfectly, Elixxir delivers an awesome read and leaves you wanting more of the Brethren.
