Meet the Beautiful Misfits from Billy Jolie’s The Lust Garden…

Admittedly, I’m a pop culture junkie. I see midnight screenings of the Twilight films, I
have an electronic subscription to Entertainment Weekly on my iPad, I live-tweet awards
shows, and I read perezhilton.com like it’s the Bible. For me, writing my debut novel,
The Lust Garden, was like directing a really intense, campy movie. So, to kick-off the
blog tour, I felt my beloved cast of characters deserved a proper introduction.

Gianna Salvani – Click. Pose. Flash. She’s the star, an actress turned singer with blonde
hair and perfect lips. Hollywood’s latest “it girl.” On the surface, she seems to have it all,
but she’s trapped. Fame is her prison, and with the world watching her every move, she’s
still the loneliest girl I’ve ever met.

Blair Woodward – In Hollywood, every starlet has a lapdog. He’s Gianna’s everything:
assistant, publicist, pacifier and gay best friend. He’s the only person in Gianna’s inner
circle that she truly trusts, but in this town everyone has something to hide, even Blair.

Rachyl Salinger – She’s the definition of a hot mess. She’s Gianna’s archrival, a top
model spending her days strutting down catwalks and her nights partying to excess. She
lives on the edge. She’s one step away from rehab. But her penchant for nose candy isn’t

chronicles the lives of the rich and famous for a trendy gossip rag, but what she desires
most is hard news. After an explosive interview with Gianna, she becomes hell-bent on
exposing her as a fraud, and gets more than she bargained for.

Pamela Sierens – She’s Gianna’s estranged, alcoholic mother. She’s a has-been who
hasn’t spoken to her famous daughter in years. She wants back in the limelight, and she’ll
do anything to get there, but like the others, she has a secret, one that could cost Gianna
her life.
